Update!

My camera batteries have been dead so I haven't been able to load any pictures to my computer. So I took care of it and here is the update.

Peyton got her helmet last week. Hopefully she won't have to wear it too long. It is cuter than I thought it would be but in the end it is still a helmet. Gabe thought it was so funny. He asked if Peyton could wear her helmet on the lawn mower. I think he thought it was like a 4-wheeling helmet which by the way he has never wore to mow the lawn. MaKyra said, "It is cuter than I thought but she is cuter without it. I think she looks like a hard boiled head." Nice.

Two weeks ago I was in my room when I heard a THUD! Parker started to cry. I called to him to come to my room thinking a hug and kiss would solve it all. He walked in and his face was covered in blood. AHH! I cleaned him up and found his little battle wound. It seemed pretty deep so off to the hospital we went. The doctor said it went right to the skull. Yuck! After he was numbed the doctor proceeded to put his finger in the wound and felt around (I think to check if the skull was cracked.) I about passed out. I don't do so well with blood stuff. Anyways, he received to stitches inside and four outside. Oh, every time some one asks what happened he said, "I run a wall." Gabe watched it happen and just kept saying, "It was amazing. It was amazing." Brothers are so sympathetic.

At the hospital, they gave him this bear for being so brave. He saw it and said, "No that bear a scary bear." He wanted nothing to do with it. I made him at least take a picture with it before giving it to a new home. I thought it was kind of cute.

My dad's birthday was a couple of weeks ago. Mom wanted to send Dad on a little treasure hunt. I told Mom I would take care of it. Shilo and I put it together and thought it would be fun to surprise them and drive them around. It was so fun. We sent them to places all over to pick up a fun treat or gift.

My parents were so surprised to see Shilo and I pull up to escort them around town. It was such a great day.

The day before Valentine's I invited some friends and their kids over for a Valentine's party. It was so fun. We decorated Valentine boxes and sugar cookie hearts. My friend, Katie, did a cake walk for the kids. It was so fun. The kids had Valentine's to give to each other and they all loved it.

The helmet will probably go faster than you expect, especially because she's still small. That was the story with Isaac! Isaac still has his helmet, he keeps it in his closet.

Oh my goodness your lil' guys injury sounds crazy, I probably would have puked my guts out!

What a good mom to have a V-day party with all of the kiddos. I barely even did anything for my own family!

I am so glad you've updated. Sweet little girl. The helmet honestly doesn't look that bad. She's still beautiful. Kids say the darndest things. But your kiddos sure are growing up fast.
By the way, we'll be coming to Rexburg the beginning of August. It would be great to see ya'll.

I think that's awesome that Kendra told you about my blog as well. This way I can take a peek at what is going on in your life too :) Kendra does give me updates periodically tho. Glad to see all is well and that Peyton is cute in her helmet. Will you tell Courtney my email jermandwhit@gmail.com so I can check out her blog? Thanks! Oh, and I'm feeling ok. The past week I've been a little less comfortable and VERY tired!!! Tyler has been sick and I have been as well, and he has been keeping me up all night so that's not good. And then when he is sleeping (like right now) and I should be sleeping but no, I'm on the computer...lol.
