Haircut

I got my haircut finally. I have been growing it out for a little over two years and it just got way to long for me. It was fun having it long but I was ready for something different. My aunt cut it yesterday and I feel relieved and refreshed. She cut about eight inches off. It is so nice to have a change. I started feeling like a pioneer. It is good to be back in the twenty-first century.

Nursing School

Matt started the nursing program last week. Today is his first day of lab which means the first day of scrub attire.

Is It Really Spring?

Finally a warm day. It is 68 degrees outside. Too bad it is really windy. I think spring might really be here. Yeah!!

Cousins

All the cousins, minus Ella, after the Easter egg hunt.

Ella's Birthday

Devri and her family were in town for her daughter's birthday. It was a lot of fun. Parker loves balloons. He didn't let them go. Well, I guess he did let them go. Here he is with Ella, "Baby" as Parker likes to call her. He loved her.

I'm back!

I haven't posted for awhile. I have been busy - not really. Nothing has really happened that seems post worthy. My sister was here for about 2 1/2 weeks so we spent a lot of time with her family. While she was here she took Easter pictures of my kids but due to technical difficulties, I don't have them yet. I will post them when I get them. The only other news worthy event is Matt and I attended the Monster Truck Rally this past weekend. We love monster trucks. I think that makes me part redneck but that is okay with me. We took our kids last year and they loved it but this year we decided to make it a date. It was a lot of fun. Other than that we have just been living life. Hopefully life gets more entertaining soon, but sometimes I prefer the simple.

Easter Bunny

We saw the Easter Bunny at the mall last week. The kids were so excited.

Fun in the snow!

Matt and the kids enjoying the 4-wheelers and our remaining snow.

Devri and her family came to visit from Kansas. I think they were surprised by our winter wonderland.
It may be spring in Kansas, but it is definitely still winter here.
Matt tearin' it up on the 4-wheeler.

#4

As you may have noticed, I have a new feature on my sidebar - a pregnancy ticker. No this is not tracking some one else's pregnancy. It is for me. I am 10 weeks along and am due September 28. We are really excited, but nervous at the thought of four kids. I know people say after three you can have any amount, but four is one more person. Crazy. MaKyra is so excited and hoping desperately it is a girl. We have explained it could be another brother, but she won't hear of it. She "knows its a girl." We'll see. It is pretty exciting either way.
