I'm back!

I haven't posted for awhile. I have been busy - not really. Nothing has really happened that seems post worthy. My sister was here for about 2 1/2 weeks so we spent a lot of time with her family. While she was here she took Easter pictures of my kids but due to technical difficulties, I don't have them yet. I will post them when I get them. The only other news worthy event is Matt and I attended the Monster Truck Rally this past weekend. We love monster trucks. I think that makes me part redneck but that is okay with me. We took our kids last year and they loved it but this year we decided to make it a date. It was a lot of fun. Other than that we have just been living life. Hopefully life gets more entertaining soon, but sometimes I prefer the simple.

Easter Bunny

We saw the Easter Bunny at the mall last week. The kids were so excited.

Fun in the snow!

Matt and the kids enjoying the 4-wheelers and our remaining snow.

Devri and her family came to visit from Kansas. I think they were surprised by our winter wonderland.
It may be spring in Kansas, but it is definitely still winter here.
Matt tearin' it up on the 4-wheeler.

#4

As you may have noticed, I have a new feature on my sidebar - a pregnancy ticker. No this is not tracking some one else's pregnancy. It is for me. I am 10 weeks along and am due September 28. We are really excited, but nervous at the thought of four kids. I know people say after three you can have any amount, but four is one more person. Crazy. MaKyra is so excited and hoping desperately it is a girl. We have explained it could be another brother, but she won't hear of it. She "knows its a girl." We'll see. It is pretty exciting either way.

Tagged - Eight fun facts about each of our kids.

MaKyra is a wonderful kid. She has such a kind heart. She reaches out to others with her kindness. MaKyra is so helpful with her brothers. She plays Barbies and Monster trucks with them. She helps them get snacks, toys and most anything they need. She is so fun! She loves to dance. She enjoys her dance class but also enjoys making up her own dances. One of her favorite things is drawing and coloring. She says, "It's my best talent." She spends her spare time drawing pictures for her friends and family. She is definitely a "Grandpa's girl." She and my dad are "best pals." She is a fast learner and remembers everything. She is very honest. She makes sure we tell our stories verbatim and not stray from the straight and narrow. We love her so much!

Gabe is a sweetheart. He always has hugs and kisses for everyone - especially his mom. He loves to sing. His favorite songs are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Had a Bad Day, See Me Run, Who Let the Dogs Out, and Scripture Power. He loves 4-wheelers. He is really kind to let Grandpa "borrow" the big yellow 4-wheeler. Gabe even lets him keep it at his house. Gabe has a great talent for building. He really enjoys counting anything he can. He builds the coolest things with his blocks. He is also quite a gymnast. He spends a lot of his time on his head, climbing, and doing all sorts of acrobatics. Gabe has a smile that will melt your heart and beautiful eyes to go with it. We adore him!

Parker is our running man. He runs to everything whether it is for hugs, eating, sleeping, or anything. His feet love to move. He loves animals and makes their sounds. He is quite an eater. He thinks everything is pizza and cookies. Parker loves to dance with Gabe and MaKyra. When he hears, "Who Let the Dogs Out," he starts to groove. Bathtime is a favorite - splashing and kicking in the water. He loves swimming pools and our spray park. Parker is mellow and always happy. We love him so much! He brings great joy to our family!

Who am I tagging? Everyone on my friends and family blog list that would like to share 8 fun things about their cute kids. :)

Is it summer yet?

Gabe is ready for summer. Everyday he wears his swim shorts. He even decided to swim in the tub. The funny thing is Gabe really dislikes swimming. During the summer when we would go to the Spray park or swimming, he would cry when I pulled out his swim wear. "No spray park!" was his motto. Lately he has been telling me he wants MaKyra to go swimming. I think he is ready for the sun. Hopefully swimming will be fun for him this year.

Wii!

The pictures don't do justice to the intense action going on. Brent and Isaiah duking it out on Wii boxing. Lisa and I were trying to be tough. Well, she is. I am not great at the Wii yet, but am working on it. Next Wii party everyone better watch out. I will be ready.

More Snow!

The kids were attempting to scale this snow wall. I think they did it too. The snow they are standing on is about two feet off the ground already. They are loving the snow. Matt was loving the snow too. He shoveled off six roofs last weekend. What a nice guy!

Too Much Snow!

In the beginning of winter Matt told MaKyra to pray for snow up to his knees and up to her tummy. I think it worked. These pictures are for you, Dev, since you were at the park yesterday. I don't think we can even find the park in all this snow.
